The following draft East African standards for Cereals and their Products have been prepared by the EASC/TC/014 in accordance with the EAC Principles and Procedures for harmonization of standards and are now being circulated for wider public comments.

Cosmetics and Cosmetic Products

The following draft East African standards for Cosmetics and Cosmetic products   have been prepared   by the EASC/TC/071 in accordance with the EAC Principles and Procedures for harmonization of standards and are now being circulated for   wider   public comments. Furthermore, in order to ensure the safety of ingredients used in the manufacture of cosmetics and provide guidance in the control of cosmetics and cosmetic products, the EASC/TC/071    recommended for    adoption, Annexes II to VI of the EU Regulation Ref No. 1223 /2009 on Cosmetic products.
