EAS Committee Meetings
14th Meeting of the EASC
The 14th meeting of the East African Standards Committee (EASC) is scheduled to take place from 10th to 14th May 2010 in Arusha, Tanzania.
The sequencing of the meeting is expected to be as follows:
Technical SubCommittees
Standards 10th to 12th May 2010
Metrology 10th to 12th May 2010
Quality Assurance 10th to 12th May 2010
Testing 10th to 12th May 2010
Dear All;
I am herewith sending you the notification of 14th meeting of East African Standards Committee 10th to 14th May 2010. Please distribute to EASC members and other colleagues from the Sub- Committees. As for TBS, note that Tanzania Food and Drugs Authority (TFDA) was also included in EASC membership as a result of Council Decision last year. Further communication on this subject will be in early April.

The programmes for the EASC and the TSCs will be communicated in due course. Those who may wish to present their issues are invited to do through the Contact Persons of the NSBs and the EAC Secretariat, attention to the Principal Standards Officer.
