Quality Matters

We are all taking part in the exchange of products and services whether as workers in firms, service suppliers or consumers. As consumers we have expectations towards all products and services that we consume. We expect a certain design, price, delivery, usability, and many other characteristics. Quality is the universal concept which describes how the goods and services offered by the supplier meet our expectations concerning the characteristics of the product or service. The quality of the products and services sold on the market are assured via standards, technical regulations, testing and certification, and metrology and accreditation.
